Gallery 116

Gallery 116 is a photography Gallery based in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. We offer affordable photography space and facilities, from exhibition space to studio space. The ground floor provides the gallery and opportunity for group or solo exhibition shows. The second floor offers a digital or film studio with lights, props, backgrounds and kitchen.

The gallery aims to champion photography in all its guises and showcase a diverse collection of local, national and international photography. We aim to grow with photography, the subject, and community, in doing this, you will find regular exhibitions, talks, events, and outreach projects. We hope to deliver an exciting photography resource for professional and amateur photographers, students and education, and to the general public at large.

The Gallery hire starts from just £40 per week (Priced on the basis of self invigilating) This basic price includes assistance with layout and hanging of work and promotion through our website and social media outlets and full use of our kitchen facilities.

Gallery hire additional options included;
• Edit and selection advice for art works
• Invigilation of exhibitions
• flyer design
• Hire of gallery frames (limited sizes and availability)
• We also offer a framing service which is very affordable
• All photographers using the gallery also get a discount on our photography Studio service during their exhibition, reduced from £25 to £15 for up to 3 hours.

Studio Hire
At Gallery 116 we have a full-time photography studio space. This may be hired by individual or small groups of photographers (no more than 6 at a time). So if you’re looking to hold a photo shoot or wanting to run your own workshops, the space is operated on bookable terms and agreement.

The area is a white background for easy manipulation and there is also a seating area, kitchen and desktop computers should you need to edit or look at images in detail.

Studio Hire Price: 1 – 3 Hours £25:00

Additional hours Price: £5 (price valid when booking if your studio session)

Camera hire – £15 per session (NOTE – This does not include SD card) (DSLR Nikon D3100 + 18 – 55mm kit lens)
